British Heavyweight Championship Update

There's been quite a bit of press about the British Heavyweight Championship over the past few days since Will Ospreay made his intentions clear at NJPW New Years Dash. He stood face to face with champion Katsuyori Shibata & told him, 'You have something that I want.'

That something? Of course the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship.

After the quite frankly breathtaking interactions between Shibata & Ospreay matchmakers clamoured to put together a singles encounter between the pair. That singles encounter will take place on February 11th in Osaka, Japan at NJPW New Beginning. To make that contest even more intriguing, should Shibata get past Matt Riddle next Saturday at High Stakes the British Heavyweight Championship will be on the line!

You will be able to watch that match live (with full English commentary) via

Now what if Matt Riddle is victorious at High Stakes?

The answer is he will put the gold on the line on SUNDAY MARCH 5TH where he will be an action win, loose or draw when we return to The London Cockpit for 'Live At The Cockpit 14' his potential challenger will hopefully become clearer after next weeks High Stakes.

Tickets for March 5th's Live At The Cockpit 14 are on sale NOW from the events page and trust us when we say they will sell out so make sure you act sooner rather than later!

We will have further updates on the implications of these matches soon. But we think it's hard to deny that this is a very exciting time to be a pro wrestling fan!
