Bobbi Tyler returns to RevPro after a lengthy absence to challenge one of RevPro’s most exciting young prospects Aleah James, who after just 35 pro wrestling matches is already showing the potential to be a world beater.
Tyler made her intentions to return to RevPro clear at the start of 2020, but the world had other ideas meaning her absence went a lot longer than planned. However, one thing that BT has made clear is that in her time off, she was watching. She was always watching, paying close attention to the flourishing women’s division and all the exciting new arrivals, including the arrival of one Aleah James.
Aleah James exploded into RevPro this past February and quickly made a name for herself, taking the Undisputed British Women’s Champion Gisele Shaw to her limit, earning her respect before just days later defeating former Champion Zoe Lucas and earning whatever the opposite of respect may be. In fact, Lucas seems to be consumed with rage that rumor has it that a large portion of her lockdown was spent plotting her revenge on James. This may sound like an exaggeration, yet anyone who saw Lucas’ face at the end of their tag team contest at March’s Live At The Cockpit 50 will know that she was a woman on the brink.
You could be forgiven for thinking that this was Tyler’s Tokyo Cyber Squad teammates fight rather than her own. There is no doubt that Tyler has been strategizing with the former Women’s Champion, looking for James’ weak spots. But what can’t be denied is Tyler’s intent. She is not back to make up the numbers, she is back to make an impact and making an example out of Aleah James would be the perfect start to her comeback story.
What Aleah James lacks in experience she makes up for in heart. Yes, she is happy every time she steps foot inside a wrestling ring, but don’t let that fact make you think that she takes a single second for granted. With an instinct & athleticism rarely seen James has the perfect mix of key skills that really could be the difference in this contest.
