Jushin 'Thunder' Liger Retires at Wrestle Kingdom 14

A living legend of the Cruiserweight division retired this past weekend at Wrestle Kingdom 14.

On Night 2 of Wrestle Kingdom 14, Liger partnered with Naoki Sano to face the newly crowned IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Hiromu Takahashi, and Ryu Lee.

Liger lost his last match to the team of Takahashi and Lee when Takahashi hit Liger with "Time Bomb" for the victory.

Liger has been a major part of Revolution Pro, with two of his major matches being his match against Prince Devitt for the Undisputed British Cruiserweight Championship at When Thunder Strikes and his last UK appearance at our 7-year anniversary show in Cheltenham, teaming with Michael Oku against the team of Chris Brookes and Hikuleo which you can watch now on our on-demand service.
