Recap and Highlights of the News this Week (29th Feb - 6th March)

DAVID STARR calls for rematch with OSPREAY

After his successful defense of the Southside Heavyweight Championship against SEAN KUSTOM, DAVID STARR took to the mic, challenging Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion WILL OSPREAY to a unification match on May 8th, at Epic Encounter, York Hall.

The match is still to be confirmed, however, OSPREAY announced on twitter that the message has been received!

DAN MAGEE throws in the towel for MAD KURT

As MAD KURT was being smacked around the ring by the Mad King EDDIE KINGSTON, DAN MAGEE came running from the back to try and save his friend as he threw the towel in for referee Oscar Harding to throw out the contest. KINGSTON, however caught the towel before the referee saw it, throwing it back at MAGEE, causing a distraction for MAD KURT to low blow his opponent and roll him up, for KINGSTON to kick out and carry on his beating on KURT.

When KINGSTON refused to pin a lifeless KURT, MAGEE decided to throw in the towel again, this time in front of the referee so he had to throw the match out and award victory to the Mad King.

KILLER KELLY returns to Revolution Pro Wrestling

In a shock turn of events, after GISELE SHAW & ALEAH JAMES picked up the win over the team of ZAN PHOENIX & ZOE LUCAS, the Women’s champion was left alone in the ring to celebrate as LUCAS chased JAMES to the back. As she was celebrating, a mysterious figure emerged from the crowd, assaulting SHAW only to reveal herself to be the returning KILLER KELLY. The Portuguese athlete has her eyes clearly set on the Undisputed British Women’s Championship.

LJ CLEARY pins the Speedking Champion

In what can only be described as an incredible 6-man tag match, LJ CLEARY managed to pin the Speedking Champion RICKY KNIGHT JR, after RKJ and ROBBIE X were left handicapped as MICHAEL OKU went after CONNOR MILLS who appeared at ringside.

The Speedking champion took it upon himself to try and defeat the team of MORE THAN HYPE, however, this came to bite back at him as the numbers and tandem offense of the Irish lads were too much for one man to handle as he was pinned from a beautiful flip Codebreaker. CLEARY now has a claim for a championship match against RKJ.
