Recap and Highlights of the Week (22nd-28th Feb)

ALEAH JAMES surprise win over former champion

At Live in Southampton 12, ALEAH JAMES faced former champion, ZOE LUCAS in singles action. LUCAS with her frustrations at losing her title recently on full display, used her considerable power advantage over the young wrestler. As the former champion kept control late into the match, she became complacent, as JAMES, dodged a kick from her opponent before surprising her with a snap-rana, and picking up the three-count!

CONNOR MILLS betrays MICHAEL OKU

After an equal, but heated exchange between two friends, MICHAEL OKU gave an impassioned speech about how much CONNOR MILLS has meant to him, as OKU proclaimed that whenever he looked at the belt he had won at High Stakes, he doesn’t see it as him winning it, he sees it as himself and MILLS winning it together. As a sign of gratitude and understanding, MILLS went to pick up the championship, place it on the champions waist, with OKU, tearing up at the gesture. As OKU proclaimed there is no-one he’d love to team more than CONNOR MILLS, the debutant, suddenly, struck OKU with a ‘Black Mass’ kick, knocking the champion unconscious and leaving the crowd in absolute shock.

KENNETH HALFPENNY and BRENDAN WHITE rivalry heats up

The rivalry between BRENDAN WHITE and KENNETH HALFPENNY heated up at Live in Southampton 12. As HALFPENNY was disappointed in his efforts in his loss to MAD KURT, whilst looking dejected, he turned and struck MAD KURT, beating him down in the middle of the ring. Until WHITE stepped in trying to pull HALFPENNY off the victor of the match before he struck him with a firm elbow. Suddenly HALFPENNY had realised what he had done, he turned slowly, before the two members of the Contenders division went hammer and tong at each. As they absolutely wailed on each other, multiple wrestlers from the locker room came running out to separate the two, with neither letting up on the other.
