Recap & Highlights of the News this Week (1st Feb - 7th Feb)

Updated: Feb 21, 2020

And Still… but for how much longer?

The biggest news of the week came all the way from Japan as ZACK SABRE JR retained his Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship via referee stoppage against old rival WILL OSPREAY in an incredible bout at Night 2 of New Beginning in Sapporo. However, the following show on October 4th, saw CHAOS and SUZUKI-GUN in 8-man tag team elimination match, which saw WILL OSPREAY pin the Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, decisively in the middle of the ring. Armed with this fact and the knowledge that he never gave up in Sapporo OSPREAY has demanded a rematch at High Stakes, February 14th York Hall, in his hometown and venue. RevPro matchmakers were quick to make this contest official and we have ourselves a contest between two of the best British Wrestlers of all time in just one weeks time!

Samuels Out

In perhaps the most unfortunate news for Revolution Pro so far this year was the announcement from SHA SAMUELS that he is out injured for the foreseeable future. THE LEGION member and former Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, is a key part of Revolution Pro Wrestling’s roster and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Congratulations to Gabriel Kidd

We would like to say well done to GABRIEL KIDD as in the past week he has made his New Japan Wrestling Debut just six months after moving to train with KATSUYORI SHIBATA as part of the LA Dojo Young Lions.
